Kaleidoscope! XD

Had the welcoming ceremony at 正心园 in the morning. Stood for like 45min before the guest of honour arrived. Then Dr Foo and the guest of honour gave speeches. Lol I think everybody wasn't really listening -.- After that, Dr Foo hit the gong and the chinese orchestra performed with the chinese dance. Oh and not to forget the performance by string ensemble and SENIOR HIGH BAND too!!!!!!! :D Saw Mr Ng conducting for the second piece yay! :D Pioneer batch of dhs's first Symphony Orchestra!!! :D

Then we went to 3H classroom but apparently another class was already there, so the teacher's got all confused. In the end, we got the classroom. Had a lesson on caricature. The teacher was Mr Kamal, if I'm not wrong ><

Food Gala!!! :D Lol I ate cheese fries. Actually wanted to eat kimchi ramen but it was temporarily out of stock :( Sian... Then after that we waited outside the auditorium cos we were supposed to go there and it wasn't open yet ><

Watched performances in the auditorium. Chinese orchestra performed first. Then string ensemble. Lydia was like asking me to sing along with them when they played YMCA lol! But of course I didn't sing -.- Then choir. The last song was quite cool. Then guitar ensemble, quite cool too! :D They played PONYO!!!! XD Haha it sounded so cute :D Last was wushu. I think I got the order wrong, but nvm larh :D

So after that we got 35min of break again. Walked along the japanese cultural street and ate chawanmushi :D Then we went to the music atrium, only to be sent to the hostel canteen -.-

So I got 4 packets of Twisties free! :D Actually each of us supposed to get 2 each only, then when I opened my bag to put the twisties in, the lady there said, " 哇你的书包还有这么多位，多拿两包吧！” LOL! :D So that's how I got 4 packets :D

Then went to join the looonnnngggg queue for the Turkish ice-cream. The ice-cream guy was damn funny larh! :D He keep joking with us. Cos the ice-cream was damn sticky, he will like stick it to the spoon, then when you want to take it, he'll purposely not let you haha :D Oh then he will also purposely use a few cones for your ice-cream then when he want to give it to you, you'll take the bottom cone, which is a blank one haha :D Qinghui kenna 6 times lol! :D Was laughing like siao then XD

Then we went to the PAC for more performances. 1st was by the chinese dance. Rachel said the way they smiled very creepy -.- After that there was a guest peformance by siglap is it?? -.- Then after that was a solo by a violinist from string ensemble and mep. Lastly was an ensemble with some indian insruments.

THERE WAS A FLUTE!!!!!!!!!! XD

Lol so there's a western flute, a chinese flute and an indian flute -.- Dunno how many other flutes there are ><

Ok done with this post. I shall go spam maths now :D "Yay!" -.-
